VAK Serves Customers Throughout the Summer

Dear reader,

The geopolitical situation has unfortunately cast a shadow over the market environment this spring. Despite this, VAK has remained busy in both new production and service operations. We announced our international growth strategy extending to 2030, and its determined implementation has started well. We also refreshed the company’s brand identity, while retaining the strong and recognizable VAK logo. Our slogan, “LOADED WITH EXPERTISE,” emphasizes our extensive specialist knowledge in both new product development and service operations. We want to highlight the strong professional expertise of our personnel, as well as our ability to serve Nordic customers even when their requirements regarding product features are at their most demanding.

The strengthening of our Scandinavian sales organization is progressing well, and we are confident that we will gain a growing share of the market, particularly in Sweden but also in Norway. During the spring, we made significant investment decisions for our Vahto factory to increase production capacity. The strategic development of our service business has also advanced. Our home market, Finland, will continue to hold a special importance for VAK.

High-quality work is closely linked to occupational safety. The entire organization has worked with commitment to improve safety, and encouraging results are already visible. Our ambitious goal is to achieve zero accidents across the entire Group by the end of the current strategy period. A high level of safety also supports the excellent quality of our products and service work, which is an absolute prerequisite for competitiveness.

We all certainly hope that the dark clouds will clear, particularly regarding the crisis in the Middle East, that fuel prices—so important to the transport industry—will stabilize, and that the emerging economic recovery will finally gain momentum. Our order book has developed quite well during the spring, and there is a positive sentiment in the market. We have been able to contribute to economic growth by providing employment opportunities for many new members of the VAK team in production. Our service operations have also maintained a strong workload, yet we remain ready to serve our customers at short notice throughout the summer season
