Tomas Jørgensen appointed Sales Director for Scandinavia at the VAK Group
In the VAK Group’s new strategy, the Scandinavian market plays a major role in the company’s future growth. For this reason, the sales organisation is being strengthened, and as the first measure, Tomas Jørgensen has been appointed Sales Director for Scandinavia. He will be responsible for the growth and profitability of product sales in the Scandinavian market.
Jørgensen joins the VAK Group from his position as Managing Director of Schmitz Cargobull Sverige AB. He will begin in his new role on 1 June 2026.

The VAK Group is one of the most significant manufacturers of heavy-duty transport equipment in the Nordic countries. In addition to its plant in Vahto, the VAK Group has maintenance service points in six locations across Finland and two in Sweden. The company’s production programme includes transport bodies, trailers and demountable bodies for trucks, among other products. The Group has around 550 employees, and its net sales in 2024 amounted to around EUR 101 million. The Group is seeking Nordic growth, and it also includes the sales companies VAK Sverige Ab in Sweden and VAK Norge AS in Norway.
