Borgar Pettersen (40) has been named as a new salesmanager in VAK Norge. VAK Norge is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Finnish transport equipment manufacturer VAK Oy.

VAK Norge was established four years ago, and until today only Geir Strande has sold VAK’s products to the Norwegian market. The Norwegian market has welcomed the Finnish newcomer, who has a market share of over 50 per cent for cabinet solutions for temperature-controlled trailers and HCT combinations in the Finnish market.

In Borgar Pettersen, VAK Norge gets a new salesperson with great knowledge and enthusiasm for the products he will sell. He drove a crane truck and mobile crane for 14 years. 4,5 years ago he started as purchasing manager for trucks and rolling stock in Rema with responsibility for the whole country.

– I have seen the quality of what VAK delivers and I believe there is great potential in the Norwegian market, says Borgar Pettersen. He will start his new job on 1 August.

– It has gone beyond all expectations since we established ourselves in the Norwegian market. We hurry slowly and continue to build ourselves up stone by stone, says Stefan Björklund, who is export manager at VAK.
